Executive Administrative Assistant, VACANT:

Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics. Conserves executive's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications. Maintains executive's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel. Represents the President/CEO and Vice President by attending meetings in the executives' absence; speaking for the executive. Welcomes guests and clients by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries. Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential. Completes projects by assigning work to clerical staff; following up on results. Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing information.Secures information by completing database backups. Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems; recording meeting discussions.Maintains office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; evaluating new office products; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies. Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

 

Assistant to Executive Administrative Assistant, VACANT:

Answer general phone inquiries using a professional and courteous manner. Direct phone inquires to the appropriate staff members or take messages when needed.  Reply all requests with the accurate information. Greet clients/suppliers/visitors to the organization in a professional and friendly manner.  Use computer word processing, spreadsheet, and database software to prepare reports, memos, and documents. S ort incoming mail, faxes, and courier deliveries for distribution,  prepare and send outgoing faxes, mail, and courier parcels, and respond to and forward incoming general e-mails to the appropriate staff member, and forward voice mail from the general mailbox to the appropriate staff member. Purchase, receive and store the office supplies ensuring that basic supplies are always available,, code and file material according to the established procedures, uUpdate and ensure the accuracy of the organization's database,s, Back-up electronic files using proper procedures,  provide secretarial and administrative support to Leadership and Executive Administrative Assistant, assist with making travel, meeting and other arrangements for staff, and coordinate the maintenance of office equipment, and all other work responsibilities as assigned.

 

Finance Officer, VACANT:
Responsible for the accounting of all incoming funds and outgoing expenses and financial reporting to all state and federal agencies. Accomplishes finance human resource strategies by determining accountabilities; communicating and enforcing values, policies, and procedures; implementing recruitment, selection, orientation, training, coaching, counseling, disciplinary, and communication programs; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation strategies. Develops finance organizational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction; establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.Establishes finance operational strategies by evaluating trends; establishing critical measurements; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.Develops organization prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities; projecting acquisition and expansion prospects; analyzing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement; accumulating capital to fund expansion.Develops financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; developing action plans. Monitors financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.Maximizes return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities; maintaining relationships with the investment community.Reports financial status by developing forecasts; reporting results; analyzing variances; developing improvements.Updates job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.Accomplishes finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Legal Counsel, VACANT:

Responsible for giving accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics (labor law, partnerships, international ventures, corporate finance etc.). Collaborates with leadership to devise efficient defense strategies, specify internal governance policies and regularly monitor compliance, research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations, apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive Prepare, issue and a wide variety of necessary trial documents, reports, and records.Provides assistance with Temporary Protective and Stalking Protective Orders and legal advocacy for survivors through individual meetings, support groups, making referrals to other agencies, and court accompaniment. Draft and independently prepare initial legal documents, pleadings, subpoenas, orders, warrants, extraditions, modification orders and other material of important, often confidential nature from brief verbal instructions, research, interviews, notes or personal knowledge. advise on possible legal issues, communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust. Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights and deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and forces. Further, Legal counsel will provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization, conduct work with integrity and responsibility, and maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation. 


Outreach & Legal AdvocateI,

 

 

 

 

VACANT:

Establish and maintain docket of cases with dates, notify appropriate people and calendar of documents prepared. Notify and/or subpoena all appropriate people; arrange travel accommodations. Determine sequence of procedural steps to move paperwork through department in a timely manner.  Prepare physical files with all required information included; ensure completeness and readiness when needed; maintain associated master files and records. Ensure that victims of crime receive the services available through the Women Of Virtue Inc. Victim’s Assistance Programs including but not limited to working with law enforcement; providing on-going case information; preparing victims for court appearances; assisting with completion of paperwork and assessing needs and referrals. Assist public in person and by telephone, answering inquiries and interpret policy and procedure. Receive record and distribute mail and prepare outgoing mail. Order supplies. 

 

Outreach & Client Advocate II, VACANT:

Provides assistance with Temporary Protective and Stalking Protective Orders and legal advocacy for survivors through individual meetings, support groups, making referrals to other agencies, and court accompaniment. Draft and independently prepare initial legal documents, pleadings, subpoenas, orders, warrants, extraditions, modification orders and other material of important, often confidential nature from brief verbal instructions, research, interviews, notes or personal knowledge. Prepare, issue and file with court a wide variety of necessary trial documents, reports, and records. Provides assistance and support to clients, by helping with obtaining information and referral services for employment, education, legal, medical, and other services.  Assist in completing legal forms and Crime Victim Compensation applications,  provide understanding of the legal process,  advocacy for court procedures,  law enforcement in-services, and  community resource education.

Transitional Housing & Volunteer Coordinator, VACANT:
Provides case management, advocacy, and empowerment to women residing in the transitional housing and scattered site programs through individual and group support, and referrals to other community agencies.  Samantha is also charged with recruiting, training, scheduling, and supporting volunteers for the agency.

Operations & Donations Coordinator, VACANT:
Responsible for the coordination of donations, and maintaining shelter compliance with state and federal regulations. Will also help with marketing and social media for the agency, and all other work responsibilities as assigned.

 

IT Coordinator, VACANT

Works with management and other departments to implement a successful IT plan. Assists in the implementation of the IT plan and trains the individuals who will need to use it. • Establishes various guidelines for evaluating the IT systems and determining where changes should be made. Assists in budgeting for IT expenses, including the purchase of new equipment and software when necessary. Diagnoses issues when computers or other technologies are not working as they should. Implements a plan for repair or replacement of computers and other forms of technology. Instructs other IT professionals and assigns projects as needed. Forms strong bonds with equipment manufacturers and service providers so that issues can be resolved more quickly. Prepares regular reports for management officials; attends meetings to present these findings.
